BTS Opportunites

This is obviously the heart of the show. Nothing on-screen happens without the hard work and dedication of talented people behind the scenes. BONUS - BTS people have the best opportunity to become on-screen talent... and there may be some more incentives just for the bts fam. Please let us know which BTS opportunity you'd like to be considered for. Check all that apply.

Crew (hands... that's what we need here. If you're willing to help in anyway we need on show days this is the best way to be considered for future on screen opportunities. Crew will assist with set-up / tear down, camera lights and sound operation, audience coordination, audience fill-in, snack prep, errands, etc.)

Audience (we need people to laugh audibly and clap excitedly. Pretty basic, but this show cannot happen without supportive fam there to laugh along with us)

Audience Coordinator (can you put buts in seats? We film in a small studio space that has room for cast, crew and about 10 audience members. You're job will be to help get people out to the tapings and make sure they are where they need to be and have what they need)

Writers (we are looking for people who can actually write a set up / punchline joke about topical events and happenings. Writers will need to work great independently and as a part of a group.)

Punch-Up (maybe you're funny, but you don't exactly write jokes in the traditional format. We'd love to have you in the punch-up room.)

Public Relations / Marketing (these folks are movers and shakers who know how to get people and organizations working together. You'll be in charge of reaching out to Charlotte area businesses and brands to make connections and get some collaborations going.)

Graphics (are you a canva pro? can you make fun graphics for our games and bits?)

Editors (could you edit one 3-10 minute clip from our 30-40 min show? Can you edit shorter clips for reels, tik toks, and YT shorts?)

Photographers (take behind the scenes pics and candids while were shooting)

Producer (Producers will act as department managers of the show and will make sure that all the work in their department gets done. You need strong project management and or organizational skills for this role.)

Show Runner (Sort of like the General Manager of the Show. This person will make sure all of the producer's work is completed and everyone's happy. Again, strong project management and or organizational skills are a must)

On-Screen Opportunities

We only have so many spots per season but we will try to get everyone who's interested on-screen in some capacity. Those willing to volunteer behind the scenes (BTS fam) will be our priority for on-screen opportunities. Please let us know which on-screen opportunity you'd like to be considered for. Performer / Guest (must have solid 3-5 mins of family friendlyish material either music, comedy, spoken word, magician etc. You will perform and then be interviewed by our host)

Business / Non Profit Guest (you'd like to come to be interviewed about your business or non-profit, we may ask you to play a game while you're with us)

Pop In Character / Correspondent (either act as a character or play a caricature of your self. Your appearance may not be promoted but it will be a lil surprise for your friends and fans)

Game Participant (just come through with energy and a fun attitude and play one of our silly games)
